What makes us different | What makes us different – Cayhill Partners

We’re not just another search firm that produces formulaic shortlists. We began out of a desire to offer a different way of working.

What makes us different

The corporate affairs and communications environment is dynamic and constantly changing – it’s a shifting world in which organisations need specialist advice and expert counsel.

As you would expect of a specialist search firm run by a former corporate affairs director, we offer an unrivalled depth of knowledge as well as access to a extensive network of senior communications leaders around the world. But that, along with our exceptionally high levels of personalised service, our professionalism, discretion and expertise, isn’t enough in our view.

So we go one step further than our competitors by offering an uncompromising suite of commitments, all based around complete flexibility for our clients and fairness & transparency in everything we do. Each client that we work with is different and we don’t try to shoe-horn them into standard business models or regimented project templates. This flexibility means that we can, for example, offer a range of different and creative fee structures; or produce, if required, short-lists that are distinctly different from our competitors; as well as work to adaptable, client-friendly time-frames.

Fairness is crucially important to us and that ethos runs through everything we do.  For our clients that includes, amongst other things, a 12 month guarantee on all our work and a promise that there will be no expensive mark-ups or additional expenses added to the bill.  And for our candidates we offer honest and timely feedback following client interviews as well as realistic career advice and counsel.

Dee partnered with us on a sensitive communications & PR project and her senior practitioner’s insight into the discipline was apparent from the start. Her ability to probe, research, deconstruct, analyse and objectively assess a communications function – and provide advice on how best to build and develop that function – was extremely valuable. She is flexible, genuine, discreet and a pleasure to work with.
